6th - 12th grade teens are welcomed to participate in our in-person and online parish events that we create and host just for them. Their relationship with Jesus and this parish is at the center of everything we do together. Whether it’s a fun social outing like a nerf battle or movie night, a service opportunity, an encounter with prayer, or a discussion on life’s most important topics, teens will be able to grow in their faith and friendships.
Teens do not need to be Catholic to attend, and friends are always welcome.
NOTE: 6th graders of the school are invited on Wednesdays this semester while 6th graders in Family Faith Formation are still required to attend and prioritize that commitment. In January, both the middle school and high school youth groups will meet on Sunday evenings. All 6th graders will be able to attend at that point.
Director of Youth Faith Formation
Ryan leads our youth ministry efforts called SPH Young Church and co-leads confirmation preparation. He also aids the school with the spiritual direction and development of our students, and is active in many of the various aspects of our parish.
Originally from the state of Georgia, and blessed to have been raised in an amazing Catholic community, Ryan values the opportunity to pass on what was given to him. A family of faith, an understanding of belonging, and a love for Jesus and Catholicism. The opportunity to pass on these values to our teenage youth and their families is truly a blessing and a dream come true.
