About the event
The Adult Spiritual Formation Committee Presents: Reflections on the Life of St. Clare of Assisi
Clare of Assisi was an Italian saint and one of the first known followers of Saint Francis of Assisi. She is credited as the founder of the “Order of Poor Ladies” and also wrote their ‘Rule of Life'. The Order that she founded came to be known for the power of their prayers, which apparently saved Assisi twice from foreign invaders.
Please join us as we reflect on the life of St. Clare, who she was and what she did for others, so that we may better understand her life's mission. Presented by Sr. Joy Barker, OSF on Thursday, May 11, 2023, 7PM - 8:30PM in the Holy Family Center. There will be time for reflection as well as a question and answer period. RSVP is appreciated but not required.
