About the event
The Easter Vigil, on the evening of Holy Saturday, is the time in the liturgical calendar when we welcome the catechumens and candidates into full communion in the church. It is a beautiful Mass starting in darkness, representing the darkness of the tomb, leading into the light of Christ, as His light dispels the darkness.
