Extended Day Program (EDP)

St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Extended Day Program (EDP) exists to give parents the peace of mind that their child has a supervised, fun and safe place to be. We understand that parents may need to be to work earlier than the school day begins, or still at work when the school day ends.

Available Hours

Our morning hours are 7:00AM - 8:10AM with students receiving breakfast. Students may use the time to study, watch TV or visit with friends.

Our afternoon hours are 3:30PM - 5:30PM and includes a snack.

Weather permitting students may go outside to the playground. When weather is inclement, students have the use of the gymnasium, play board games, do crafts, and are encouraged to begin their homework.

Policies & Registration

For the child’s safety, parents must walk their children to EDP in the morning, and come into EDP to retrieve them at pick-up. Children will not be released otherwise.

Cost & Billing

The cost is $1.00 per 15-minute increment or $4.00 per hour per child. If students are not picked up by 5:30 pm closing, the cost is $5.00/minute/per child.

Bills are sent via email to your email address on file every two (2) weeks.

Payments may be made in one of the following ways; cash, check or money order to the school office or EDP at time of pick-up or drop off.

If at any time your bill is in arrears more than two billing cycles, your child(ren) will not be able to attend the program until payment is made.
