FAITH FORMATION

Adult Faith Formation

Adult Faith Formation is a committee of parishioners who plan and offer programs to aid all members of St. Pat’s to continue to grow in their faith. Programs include Bible Studies, Lenten faith sharing small groups, formed.org on-line, guest speaker presentations, parish retreats, Parish Mission, prayer services and more.  Programs range from one night events to
6-10 week programs.

Family Faith Formation

Family Faith Formation is our parish catechetical program for public school children in grades K-6.

Classes are held on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30 mid September through mid May. We celebrate Mass together at the beginning and end of the teaching year.

There are two multi-generational Family Nights during the year, usually during Advent and Lent with appropriate themes. Past themes have included the Jesse Tree, a Seder Meal, and the Holy Family.

Each grade helps plan a Prayer Service during the year. We celebrate Adoration and Benediction with the Rosary in the fall and the Stations of the Cross  during Lent. The second graders present the Nativity right before the Christmas break (complete with fabulous costumes). We include the children in as much of the planning as we can.

We use the "We Believe" book series through Sadlier which follows diocesan curriculum requirements, but our catechists are very creative about using supplemental materials as well.

Fees: $65/one child; $120/two children; $165/ three or more children.

We offer a homeschooling option for children involved in seasonal sports.
