URGENT MEMO from Catholic Bishops of Ohio

Out of deep concern for the common good as well as the physical and spiritual well-being of all the people of Ohio, the Catholic Bishops of Ohio have agreed once again to cooperate with the governor during the “Stay at Home” order, and to support and abide by the multi-phased approach to returning to work and eventual public gathering in large groups.

To that end, the Catholic Bishops of Ohio extend the temporary suspension of all publicly celebrated Masses/liturgies to May 29th, with the hope of publicly celebrating together the Solemnity of Pentecost on the weekend of May 30/31.

Please read the full statement here.

Masses Suspended Through Easter

After serious consideration of the grave health risk involved in public gatherings and in order to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, the bishops of Ohio have decided, effective immediately, to suspend temporarily all publicly celebrated Masses/liturgies, at least through the celebrations of Holy Week and Easter.

Important Announcement from Fr. Mark

To do our part to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, and to keep our parishioners, students, school families and staff safe, we are cancelling all parish activities and meetings with the exception of Mass, Reconciliation, Stations of the Cross and Chapel.

Earlier we announced that at the Governor's directive, SPH school will be closed through April 3.

This is a situation where new information is disseminated often and we will update you here and on our website throughout the next few weeks.

The parish and school office will remain open during this trying time to answer specific questions.

Let us all pray for God's protection and for those most affected by these challenges.

Peace and prayers,

Fr. Mark
