Divorced & Separated Support Group
Our support group provides a safe place during this critical transition of your life. As we come together, we can learn more about divorce and separation by listening and sharing with others who are also walking this difficult journey.
Going through a divorce or separation is very difficult to understand and work through. Our support group provides an environment of complete confidentialty. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm in the Conference Room. All are welcome to attend. You do not have to be a parishioner at St. Pat's or be of Catholic faith to attend.

As we are painfully trying to get through our divorce or separation, sometimes we find ourselves hiding behind a mask so it can protect us from the emotional pain and fear we are feeling. We also reflect on the love that we lost and the fear of love in our future. There is much forgiveness that has to take place before we can even begin to move forwarded.
Next Meeting: Tuesday 7pm January 24th Topic: "LONELINESS & FRIENDSHIP".
Some normal responses on the journey of divorce or separation might sound like, “Where has everybody gone?” and “I’ve never felt so alone.” It is natural to feel extreme loneliness when your relationship has come to an end. Learning to be comfortable being by yourself is a situation our of your comfort zone right. Many losses, changes, and routines have occurred in your life. Some of those losses include friendships at a time when you need them the most. Your married friends may slip out of your life right now and as a married person, you don’t have single friends either. Please join us for discussion at our next support group meeting on topics "Loneliness & Friendship" and learn some coping skills to get through this difficult time. We will be meeting in the Conference Room on Tuesday, January 24th at 7pm. For further information, call Rita at 724-4675 or email at rita.hoff@toledostpats.org.
