Custodian

Are you an enthusiastic and energetic person with a passion for serving others? We offer a great opportunity to use your skills in a purpose-focused and rewarding environment.

 

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Custodial position: 

 

  • Performs general custodial duties including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing floors, clean carpets, changing light bulbs, emptying trash, and washingwindows/glass areas.

  • Able to operate custodial equipment, such as industrial sweepers and uses a variety of cleaning and sanitizing agents in performing assigned tasks.

  • Shovel snow and apply salt to all sidewalks, steps and entryways

  • Cleans restrooms, replenishes supplies daily and performs minor plumbing repairs.

  • Responds to emergency cleanups, such as spills and clogged drains.

  • Assists office personnel with assigned tasks, such as moving boxes, cabinets, furniture and other related office items.

Director of Music & Liturgy

Are you an experienced Liturgist with a passion for serving others or know someone who would be a good candidate? We offer an exciting opportunity ot use your skills in a purpose-focused and rewarding environment.

 

We are a dynamic Catholic Church and School campus with an opportunity available for a Director of Music and Liturgy. We offer competitive salaries, medical, dental, and vision insurance along with paid vacation and sick time.

 

The Director of Music and Liturgy is responsible for the overall weekend experience here at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns.

 

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Director of Music and Liturgy: 

 

  • Plan all liturgies for church and school

  • Oversee al liturgical ministers, including training, scheduling, etc.

  • Direct the Liturgical Choir, assemble and lead contemporary band(s), manage musicians/instruments/rehearsals/Masses

  • Execute all funeral and wedding liturgies as they arise

  • Manage music library 

  • Assist the Environment Committee with decorating, ordering supplies, and managing liturgical inventory

  • Communicate with priests and deacons ensuring they are prepared for Mass.
